At the start of the campaign, parishes were given the option to run a Good Faith Effort campaign or a Combined Campaign. Parishes with significant capital needs elected to conduct a combined campaign, which would address both the parish and Archdiocesan needs within one campaign. This option affords a parish the ability to give primary focus to their own parish needs while at the same time, informing parishioners of the Archdiocesan needs being presented in the larger campaign.
In a combined campaign, the parish agrees to guarantee 67% of their IGNITE goal to the Archdiocese and then retain 100% of any funds raised over that amount. For example:
If a parish has an IGNITE goal of $1,000,000 and runs a combined campaign, they will pay $670,000 to the Archdiocese in 16 quarterly payments. If the parish raises $3,000,000, they will keep $2,330,000 for their own parish needs. These are considered "combined overages."
Thirty parishes in the Archdiocese decided to run a combined campaign. Their campaign results are below. Please note that some parishes did not begin their combined campaign until Fall of 2021. Some of these numbers might not be completely updated, as the most accurate and up to date numbers come directly from each parish.
